Delta Delta Delta women’s fraternity, one of the largest women’s organizations in the world with over 186,000 collegiate lifetime members, was founded on November 27, 1888 at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts by four women with similar ideals: Sarah Ida Shaw, Eleanor Dorcas Pond, Florence Isabelle Stewart and Isabel Morgan Breed. The Tri Delta colors are silver, gold, and Cerulean blue and their motto is “Let us steadfastly love one another.” If you are fortunate enough to be offered membership to this organization, you will be joining the ranks of noted Delta Delta Delta sorors that include TV personality Katie Couric and former Miss Universe Shawn Weatherly.
